On this page you will find information about all the Sunday School classes we have at First Christian Church. Just like a tree is not a tree without the branches that help you identify it, people at First Christian Church call First Christian their home becasue of the Sunday School class they associate themselves with. May you consider the fact that you are not you without the fellowship that you keep with another person. To that end, the following Sunday School classes are made available to you in the greater life of First Christian Church.

Crusader's Class
Age range - 60 and up
Meeting Time - Sunday Morning at 11 a.m.

This Sunday School class meets weekly. They begin their Sunday School with a hymn and then are lead in discussion by a rotation of teachers from week to week. They would be excited for you to join them as they take time to worship God by means of their fellowship time spent together in Sunday School.

Willing Heart's
Age Range - 20's to 50's
Meeting Time - Sunday Morning at 11 a.m.

This class is a discussion based class. Discussions will range from a variety of topics. This class values the time they spend together because they not only learn from God's Word but from each other. Each person is valued for the contributions they make to the class by means of what they have to share.

Youth Sunday School
Age Range - 6th - 12th Grade
Meeting Time - Sunday Mornings at 11 a.m.

Within the Youth Sunday School there is a dynamic that is quite unique. No two Sunday School lessons will be the same. One week, the Youth Sunday School might have a lot of activities, one week it might be more discussion based and yet another week it might more informal. Youths today are challenged in many different areas of their life. The Youth Sunday School will be an opportunity for youth to be youth in an environment that strives to help them in their walk with Jesus.

Kids Zone
Age Range - K - 5th Grade
Meeting Time - Children are dismissed during Morning Worship

Children are the future. Just like any adult, kids need time to be kids. The Kids Zone at First Christian Church is not just a place for children to have fun, you can and see more about it by following the link "Kids Zone" on the side menu, but it is also a place where children will be challenged in how they think about Jesus and his work in the world. Children will also be given instruction and guidance about how to be good citizens and disciples for Jesus.

These are titles of NOOMA videos by Rob Bell. There is currently a Sunday School class that is amidst a 24 week series of NOOMA videos and the class is always looking for new people to offer their opinions and insights for the conversation.
