MISSION STATEMENT

We believe God's mission for

the First Christian Church is

to be and to share

the Good News of Jesus Christ

witnessing and serving from our doorsteps

"to the ends of the earth."  (Acts 1: 8)

Memory Scripture for the week:

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

John 3: 17

LOOKING AHEAD
As many of you know, the Brady family experienced a break-in at their home on early Sunday morning.  In the struggle that resulted, Jeff was injured.  Since that time, Jeff has continued to experience increased physical difficulties.  The family has established a special internet blog to help answer questions and give updates about Jeff and the family.  Please remember them in your prayers and visit the blog often for the latest updates.

Doorstep Grant Scholarship Program

The First Christian Church takes pleasure in announcing the formation of a special grant scholarship program for people who are in need of a second chance in life.

This program is formed with two basic purposes:

1.  To enable people to recognize the power that can only come to life from a commitment to God's purpose for their life, and

2.  Empower people to become a self-sufficient part of the greater community.

Additional information, including an opportunity to download a Doorstep Grant Scholarship brochure and application, is available by visiting the Doorstep Grant menu link.
