Belonging. Connecting. Providing.
At First Christian Church, we believe people matter and everyone deserves a place to belong. For more than 150 years, we've been a part of the Marion community, building relationships, serving our neighbors, and walking alongside people through every stage of life. We're a community of ordinary people who care about one another, show up for our neighbors, and look for practical ways to make a difference in Marion, Grant County.
Whether you're exploring faith, returning to church after years away, or just looking for genuine connection, you're welcome here. We don't expect anyone to have it all figured out. We simply invite you to come as you are, build meaningful relationships, and join us as we care for our community together.
Services are every Sunday at 10:30 am in person or on Facebook Live. The videos are then uploaded to our YouTube channel every Wednesday at 6:00 pm to watch at your convenience. You can find the links to our Facebook and YouTube pages in the top right corner of this and every page on our website. We’ll save you a seat!

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a movement of churches committed to following Jesus, welcoming everyone, and serving our communities. We believe people don't have to have everything figured out to belong. We value compassion, thoughtful conversation, and working together to make a positive difference in the world. While every congregation has its own personality, we're united by a commitment to love our neighbors and welcome all people.
We trace our roots to the early 1800s, when people from different Christian traditions came together with a simple goal: to focus on what unites people rather than what divides them. That spirit continues today as we seek to be an open and welcoming community for everyone.
