The Parish Nurse Program at First Christian Church is built out of a partnership with Marion General Hospital.  The purpose of the Parish Nurse ministry is to provide holistic health care - mind, body, and spirit - to the congregation.  During the 10 years span of this ministry has provided monthly blood pressure checks on the 3rd Sunday of the month as well as an annual community blood draw.

Other activities the Parish Nurses have offered include:

-Grief Seminars
-CPR & First Aid classes
-health education & safety programs for youth and adults
-fitness & nutrition classes
-Health Fairs
-Blood drives
-Support groups
