Showing God's Love

"Showing God's Love" is doing things that get us out of the church and serving the community to help them in whatever needs they might have because when you start caring more about others outside the church than we do inside the church; growth happens.

There are no regular meetings of the "Showing God's Love" team, but they are always looking for ways to help others.

Currently, the "Showing God's Love" team at First Christian Church serves alongside St. Martin's in Marion, IN.  St. Martin's is a food pantry, kitchen and food distrubtion center.

St. Martin's however did not serve meals on Sundays and the "Showing God's Love" team at FCC rallied churches and small groups from all around Grant County to begin serving meals at St. Martin's each Sunday morning.  The number of people taking advantage of those meals varies from 75 - 200 people and there are close to 15 churches and small groups that have each served on a Sunday.
