KIDS HOPE USA is a mentoring program that is based in Holland, MI.  KIDS HOPE USA is actually an international program.  KIDS HOPE USA partners a church with an elementary school.  Mentors recieve training presented by their local KIDS HOPE USA Director.  This traning equips the mentor to mentor a student and then each mentor is matched with an elemenary student (K-5).

The mentor spends 1 hour each week with their student at the school.  First Christian Church is partnered with Kendall Elementary school and this partnership has benefited both Kendall Elementary and First Christian Church.

The purpose of KIDS HOPE USA is for each Mentor to build a caring relationship with one at-risk child.  During the time the student and Mentor are meeting a Prayer Partner is praying for both of them.
