Doorstep Grant Scholarship Program

Because of our commitment to proclaim and manifest the new opportunities that only God may bring to life, and also in keeping with our congregational mission of serving "from our doorsteps to the ends of the Earth," the membership of the First Christian Church has developed a specialized "second chance" grant.  The program is intended to assist a person "at our doorstep" and in need of a second chance in life. 

Believing that communities, families, and lives are improved by education, this grant is offered to an individual pursuing a college degree or post-high school training program.  The purpose is to empower individuals to become a self-sufficient part of the greater community and recognize the power that can only come to life from a commitment to God's purpose. 

Deadlines for receiving applications are December 1st and April 1st of each year.  Additional information on the Doorstep Grant Scholarship program may be obtained by calling the church office during business hours.
